Brookvale High School is a mixed middle school school in the village of Groby in Leicestershire, England providing education for students aged 11–14.[2] Its catchement is Groby and the nearby villages of Ratby, Kirby Muxloe, and Newtown Linford and it shares a campus with Groby Community College.[2] Its name is derived from a small group of cottages, named Brooke Vale Cottages, that formerly occupied the site where the school now stands.
Brookvale has achieved International School Award, Healthy Schools Status, Sportsmark, Eco-Schools status, and Artsmark and shares Specialist Language College status jointly with the Community College.[1]
The OFSTED report described the school as "good ..rapidly improving because of the outstanding leadership provided by the headteacher and senior leadership team."[1] "The preparation of students for their future economic well being" and "the effectiveness of care, guidance and support" were also described as outstanding.[1]
